What's in My Court Bag?

Ever wondered what other people bring in their court bags? Well, for me, here is my list: 

1. Laptop and Charger 

You never know when you are going to need to type something up and send it to the coordinator, so I always bring my laptop (or at least my ipad) to court. 

2. Pens Galore! 

I am forever losing my pens, so it is always nice to have a TON of pens in my back pocket. 

3. Legal Pads - More than One 

Always, always bring a spare legal pad and pen for your client. 

4. Family Law Section Toolkit 

This is a game-changer! 

5. Business Cards

You never know when you are going to need them, so I bring them everywhere with me.

6. USB Drive

Sometimes, the internet does not work. Be prepared to have a USB drive to back up exhibits and give them to the court reporter upon request. 

7. HDMI Adapter (if necessary) 

If your computer does not have an HDMI Port, I highly recommend always bringing an adapter in case you have to play something on your computer. 

8. Hand Sanitizer

Enough said.
